Plastic mounting strips for under fuel tank???

I was going to install the new tank like this http://www.yachtsurvey.com/fueltank.htm and wanted to know if anyone in the west palm area had a lead on some plastic strips, let me know.

I'm thinking I might just buy a piece of the recycled plastic decking material they sell at Lowes and rip it into 1/4 inch strips.

Any thoughts appreciated.

That is what I did on my tanks. I then epoxy them on. After that I caulked them so no water would get where the epoxy might not of sealed.

Turns out that the recycled plastic decking (made from milk jugs) actually has sawdust in it as well. Looked like it might work, but I was a little concerned about the wood part absorbing moisture. So I checked around the garden department and found a product at Lowe's called Garden Plus, they call it composite edging. I bought a section that was 2in by 16 feet for $14...and I'm pretty sure it's all plastic. I'll secure it and mount the tank in the next couple days. Tight lines guys.
