You rascal. I figured you'd get it.
Any thoughts of selling it? I know a few people who might be interested... including myself in a few months.

I'll let you know . . . I am going to see what the engine looks like and go through the boat. Hopefully it's not locked up solid from sitting for a month w/o running. I was about to list a 1999 Mercury 135, but I might swap it out. Sunday I'll be draining that fuel tank.

Shrimp. Didn't you just sell a boat because you needed more room?

Big Red is going back on the market in Sept after Comm Bass season is done.

I'm working on a larger cabin boat and going to cleanup this 18. I got the 130 running last night and fixed the trim and tilt by wiring a Mercury 2 wire trim and tilt harness/relays. It works great!! They did a great job pickling the motor too. Unfortunately almost all the positive leads that had current through them when the boat sank dissolved into green mush, but I clipped them back and was able to replace most of them. Great little boat! Hope to go through the carbs tonight.

New transom consists of 2 half inch thick Aluminum plates that raise the transom to 25". It's solid as a rock, but that will be a winter project. Motor will go bye-bye (for a 175 Merc), but I want to get a few tanks of fuel thorough it before the seasons is over. Whoever did the wiring on this boat did a great job!!

I'm trying to get down to 2 boats. I love the seafari's but I really want something larger (22 or 23) for TUNA.

Sweet. I'm glad to hear that it wasn't a total wreck.
Like I said, I might have a buyer next year.

Great find! Cant wait to see what a motor with a low hp/weight ratio like that 175 will do for it. Old school 175 I assume.
