All new for me 1977 23' Sceptre by Potter Project

I have recently acquired a 1977 23' Sceptre SeaCraft by Potter. I have most all the parts and pieces but they aren't on the boat.. the hull has some nicks and chips in it(previous owner had it glass blasted i think) and there are 2 drilled holes in the bow for drainage why the boat is being "refreshed" and there are some holes from where things were drilled in and rod holders.. there was a kicker on it I'm assuming becuase the holes were glassed over. It has a 305 GM in it. If anyone has any ideas or advice it would be greatly appreciated. I'll try and get some pics up as soon as I can. I am new to ClassicSeaCraft.com and new to boat resoration.. so any input is more then I have
:D
