i just got a new johnson 150 (60 degree) on my 18. not exactly the same but you arent getting a ton of responses so may be helpful. 15x16 prop, 5500 wot gets me 42-44. 4000 rpm around 32 mph. burns about 2 mpg (sorry, fuel consumption gauge not working) on average, driving between 3500-4500 over 30-40 mile days. very heavy 18 footer, big t top, heavy custom baitwell, lots of wooden hatches/doors, lots of fishing gear. hope this is helpful.

I have a 1979 18' with a 1994 175 Johnson looper. I need to prop better because I do turn too many rpm at WOT 6200. With the boat trimmed right it runs 43 at WOT and cruises at about 30 at 4500 from what I can remember. Its duck season and that boat is stored until springtime.

Greno increase that pitch 2" and you will pick up at least 2MPH at cruise which is where you want it - amazing difference going up in pitch at cruise. Not to mention the fuel savings would probably pay for it pretty quick, its like driving in 3rd gear all the time - do it
