Floor raising

When raising the floor has anybody ran the pieces accross the stringers. Instead of lengthwise.

Re: Floor raising

Yes I did it to my 23'. 2x4s run across the stringers. Three in total plus some 2x10s in the rear. Glassed them down and even put some crown in the top of them so when you screwed the plywood down in had crown in the floor to shed water. Was very minimal crown though. PM me your email and I can send you some pics of what I did. Definaly strenghtened the floor. I had some pics on here from when i did the project but my photobucket account has since been deleted.
