I like it! Ties in with the rest of the black nicely.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Word of advice if anyone is going to do this, if you have pitting in the windshield and are not going to get too technical on fixing it, go with wrinkle style powder instead of flat it looks alot better. The wrinkle is a little more money but worth it.

did you do that yourself? Is it hard to do? What product did you use? Looks great- awesome improvement

Thanks, but no i did not do the powdercoating i had a local shop do it where i live. But i did strip the windows and gaskets and that was no easy task. It was little time consuming, you have to be careful not to brake the tempered glass it is very expensive to replace :(. It was worth it though. Oh yeah do this in the winter this is not something to take on in the summer.

Getting the glass loose from that black "weatherstripping" without breaking it is tough. Then comes cleaning that mess off. I used a mixture of WD-40 and a razor scraper, but it was very time consuming.
Did you use a bead of caulk instead of the "weatherstripping" when you reinstalled the glass.

By the way nice looking frame.

The weather stripping was cheap enough so i just used that. The outer gasket material was the killer at 1.75 a foot. I needed roughly 75 feet :(. I used the outer gasket material as well for the channels on the inside of the window that hid the windshield wiper wiring so i used a little more than expected. Thanks for the feedback

that looks very nice. Does the powder coating make it harder to fit the glass back in any way? Could you post a close up of the "wrinkled" powder coating as I have never seen that before. Thanks
