I am looking at a 1979 23' Seacraft with no bracket that has a 250 Etec on it, does anyone have any performance numbers ?

It should run close to 50 wot as for fuel burn numbers gph mpg and rpms,im not sure but its a good fit for that boat. Im not sure there is an active poster with that combo but if there is id like to know as well.

I have a 23 with a pair of etecs 150's
38knts flat out
cruise at 31knts
economy is very good, oil averages out at 80 to 1 with xd100
averaged 4 gal per hour last year , that includes all trolling and running

I think 50 mph would be a stretch.

I have a tight 225 Yami 2 stroke (411 lbs) and w/ a very light load I get 43 mph (GPS).

I have a '74 SeaCraft with full transom and a portabracket with a 250 E-tec. It jumps up and goes, tops at 41 knots on gps. Very economical compared to my old 225 Johnson.
