75 SF18 Factory Splashwell Question

I was looking around for interesting pictures and came upon Paul Toppino's '76 18 on the main web site 'SeaCraft Photos' paying particular attention to the splashwell. Then I started looking at mine. They are very different in size. Mine measures +/- 16" from the front edge of the top to the rear of the cocpit and +/- 35" wide.

My question is, do I have the correct one or do I have one from a 20'er? Paul's looks much more size appropriate than mine with regards to how much it sticks out. Any ideas?

Thats factory for an 18. I removed mine and replaced it with a piece of starboard. My Johnson has a tilt limit switch that I adjusted to keep the cowling from hitting the splash board.

The 20 MA has a similar well that's about 4" wider and has different edges.
