Not sure if everyone has seen this web site, if so sorry for wasting your time. If not, check it out. Pretty cool link to a live VHF feed.

By the way, not my site and I have nothing to do with it. I just stumbled across it a few months ago and thought some of the local folks might like it or some of the folks with the boat shrink wrapped may enjoy the ocean view.... If this is not appropriate please remove it.

Not to be a dumbass but are those real time pics. I did not see any info or may have overlooked... It was every bit of eight foot in boynton early this morning Breaking over north jetty.. Pecks has been rough lately also... Yesterday was rough also at Pecks lake...

The pics do not always do justice to the sea conditions but they are time and date stamped. They really don't look far enough out into the ocean and the way the inlet is situated depending on the tide it is sometimes misleading. Of course the ones from the Manatee pocket are always pretty calm since that area in well inside and protected.

I like the VHF feed since I work in office, it helps keep me in the know when it comes to whats biting and whats not.

Have you seen the one that shows Jupiter? It has a video feed along the beach. (it looks like they removed it but hopefully it will be back) I think this site does a better job of showing the ocean and is a little closer to Boyton.

Here is another useful source of sea information:

This one allows you to call and get detailed information from the weather buoys.

If you call 888-701-8992 and key in 41114 as the station ID you will get the data for the buoy off of Ft. Pierce. Pay close attention to the date and time from the recording though. I have seen a few times where it does not update for a few days. Also, I find the detailed wave information at the end of the message to be more useful. You will get a feel for what the buoy says vs the actual sea conditions in time.

Those are all good links, The first one you posted I have never seen... I was a sucker a few weeks ago and headed north to pecks without checking..

Fished Local today and the beaches were flooded with sharks by noon.... <FLOODED> Looked like a checker board...
