mahogany or teak?

I removed the wooden door to the anchor storage on my Master Angle to refinish it. I thought it was teak, but upon running it through the planer and looking at it closely... it is mahogany. My question is: are some SeaCrafts built with teak doors and some with mahogany? Or all they all mahogany?

On a related note, the guy whose shop is next door to my office deals in exotic lumber and does excellent custom woodworking. If anyone needs genuine mahogany (not African), teak, coco bolo, or anything along those lines, let me know and I'll put you in touch with him.

All my hatches and console trim are teak. I'm in the process of adding teak rod holders under the gunwales. :D Making them myself.
