iwent with black lexan for side windows and cabin they are curved on 20 seafari gaskets are the hard part good luck george

Do you need frames, or just glass? My local glass man said the gaskets would be hard or impossible to find and he would use caulk. Nothing resists scratching and hazing better than glass.

I've got the originals from my 77 sceptre with frames i will sell. They have the tinted tempered in them. I will sell the whole set up for a fration of the cost its going to cost you to do that project. If you do tempered its going to be around a grand maybe a little more, safety glass will be half of that give or take. I've done this on my 73 Tsunami it had the old plexi that was all cracked and i replaced it with tinted tempered glass. With all the materials and gaskets it came out to over a grand. Then i did all the windows on my pilothouse with safety glass and it was about 700.00.

Both the glass and weatherstrip are easily available.

Any good glass shop can supply you with the glass that you need to replace your windows.
I replaced all the glass in my 1974 Tsunami with Tempered glass,and had a glass shop cut the new glass. He cut the glass from patterns from the old lexan that was in the long side windows,and from cardboard patterns that I gave him for the front window glass.
He then sent it all out to be tempered.

This was two years ago,and it cost me roughly $500.00 for all the glass in the boat.The only piece I didn't replace was the front port side as it was still good.

The glass in these boats (at least in mine)can't be any thicker than 3/16",or you won't be able to put the weatherstrip in.
The glass rests against a lip that is just about 3/16,and the weatherstrip has to be able to be pushed in and over this lip which locks it all into the frame.

The weatherstrip is easily available from American marine as mentioned by McGillicuddy.I got mine from them and it was pretty reasonable.They were the original builders of the windshields.If I remember right I think it cost me about $60.00 for a hundred feet.It's a piece of cake to install it.

Or you could buy the one that Entourage has and go that route.Maybe buy it all from him,pop in just the glass and sell the frame.It might save you a good bit of money.

if you have the time, I'd like to pick your brain on my project.
My 76 needs a transom, two stringers and main hatches in cockpit area.
Perhaps a new foredeck, and the windows/frames, you talked about for a fraction of the price.
The boat is in Mattapoisett (inland) Boat Yard, rte 6
Jason had recommended I talk with you.
Sooner rather than later. Boat yard has quoted me some prices to get work done, not sure if its high or in ball park.
