Sad News

Some of you on the site may be familiar with a
product called Fish Stix .
Today I was informed that the inventor from the Daytona
Beach area had passed by his own doing...
Butch was a great guy and sorry to say a casualty of the
current economic situation.

Hopefully our country will come back soon!!

See ya, Ken

Sorry to hear that Ken. :(

90% of my shirts are adorned with fish or angling art of some form so this really hits home for me.

One of our local angler/artists, Chuck Byron, went down the same sad path 7 years back. His wife Lori has continued to make his art commercially available and has created scholarships for young talented artists. She is also preserving his marine art and legacy through an annual fishing tournament entering its 7th year, and contributes art to the Make a-Wish Foundation in their huge local tournament.

Check out Chuck's west coast fisheries artwork at http://www.chuckbyron.com/

Hearts out to Butch's family and friends and the FL fishing community.
