OK another DIY find

I have been thinking of combing bolsters but I had some made for the 23 and jesus they were expensive. So I found a great vinyl site with all the extras for doing bolsters or seats. I know we have alot of DIY guys on here and I know you really can't pay people do all this stuff. The welping and hidem things can make it look impressive.

That's where I bought my bolster materials. I would highly recommend them. Gary himself answered some questions over the phone, prices were good, and shipping very prompt. I posted pics of the finished bolsters here http://www.classicseacraft.com/forum...rev=#Post82258

Very good, I can't wait.......if you don't mind, for my present I would prefer the traditional red color on my Ferrari.

I used the foam backed pleated Chrystal White. I used 1" and 1/2" of the stiff closed cell foam and got 2 cans of his spray glue and put them together and used it to hold the foam to the backer. I re-used my backer board which appeared to be 1/2" starboard. The SS "flush nuts" :) were installed and SS bolts (head towards inside of boat, threads to outside)THIS IS BEFORE THE FOAM IS GLUED ON ,SS fender washers and nyloc nuts, Monel staples. The SS staples I found were not reccomended for marine environment. I basically just recovered the existing backers.

Too funny, went back to the web site and checked contact info - the guy is about 4 miles from me in S Tampa.
