1999 Zuke 2 stroke
 
Going to look at a 20 MA tomorrow with a '99 150 2 stroke. Owner say's 300 or so hrs. Any opinion on the power.

Look for corrosion, the older jap morors had issues, check around the LU where the bearing housing goes in - seems to get salt in there and crack - they can be welded but disassembled too. Also check the steering yoke that is also expensive but are pretty thick and rust will alway be there.

Thanks, there was a lot of rust at the steering yoke and the motor appeared to be not too well maintained so I may try to make a play for the hull only.

If I'm not mistaken, its also a very heavy 150 2-stoke - about 80lbs more than a black max merc, and 60 more than zukes recent 140 4-stroke. Good luick in your search.
