20 ft conversion?

I'm shopping for a project hull, preferably a 20 cc. just in case, is it possible to convert a sceptre to a cc? how difficult is it?

20' Sceptre's (and Seafari's) are relatively rare boats. Doesn't seem right to destroy a rare boat and do a lot of extra work when CC's are relatively common! Just buy a cc in the first place!

Yes. Then you do not have to fabricate the crown in the transom and the outdrive hole is easier to fill and fair being that all the transom is already some what closed in. There are a few around my neck of the woods that have done the same thing, but they are 23's. My next 23 will be a inboard cabin boat that I will cut the top off of and make a flat floor from bow to stern. Plus you can find some deals on the cabins!! It may just be alittle more work, but hey it is what I enjoy..
