Icom has been releasing their repack inventory of handheld and fixed mount VHF's over the last few months. Stock count is constantly changing thru the distribution network. These units are categorized three ways, like new condition, good condition, and average condition. Some were purchased new and just returned, some were sent back for warranty repair etc. If your looking for a sweet deal on a VHF, check them out.

Do they come with a warranty? Some of these look like pretty good deals depending on the risk level for the buyer.

Yes, they come with a 90 day warranty from the manufacturer.

I need a VHF. The one that came with my boat sucks. If I pay on line, today say, will I get the tax free weekend benefit?

I'm in MA, BTW.

Yes tax free weekend in MA. If you order online today there will be no sales tax.
