Seacraft 20 price

I'm looking at an early 80's seacraft 20. It's in decient shape. Everything seems solid. It deffinitly not in perfect condition but overall seems nice. There are no electronics included. It's got a mariner 200 on it. I know there are many factors involved in getting a price but I was wondering what the ballpark would be. Thanks

I paid $6,500 for my '83 20SF w/ '96 200 merc and aluminum trailer about 5 years ago before the bottom fell out of the boat market.

There's a 20" Superfisherman for sale in Inglis. The owner's grandson says it is a '68 or '69. It has a '78 Johnson 150 hp V6 on it. Boat has solid deck, but no seats or leaning post, has only been occasionally moved around inside the barn to clean the barn out for over 20 years. Console has lots of holes, but no switches or gauges, or controls. Above-deck fuel tank under the console looks pretty corroded. Hatch hinges are badly corroded chrome-plated brass. Transom is unknown condition original. Motor turns by hand. Trailer is a rust pile with broken springs, dry-rotted tires.
He's been asking $1800 for over 7 years that I know of. No takers, and according to him, no offers, either. I told him I thought it was actually worth $500-$600. He knows I can't/won't buy it even at that price. I'm trying to get him to donate it to the church. He can claim the full average retail book value of boat, motor, and trailer as a tax deduction, and the church will sell it for whatever we can get. No success so far.
