Re: 25 seafari
Do it from the outside, keep the twin engine setup.

Re: 25 seafari
fr frank why from outside? do you feel the twin 4s are enough power i am not looking for speed.thanks george

Re: 25 seafari
First, the twin 140's gave it plenty of speed, up into the mid 30's. It would even plane with one engine provided you weren't over-propped and you tilted (or "trailered") the other outdrive and used full trim tab deflection to get up on plane.
Doing the transom from the outside is easier if you're doing nothing else, and you don't have to cut the cap. If you're gonna put knees in, or rebuild motor mounts, etcetera, go ahead and cut the cap to give yourself easy access to the whole area. |
Re: 25 seafari
what do you think about seacast for transom on my 25 seafari thanks george

Re: 25 seafari
I used the Arjay ceramic, as well as my brother at the same time on his boat. Takes alot of preperation however I'm happy. Very strong, no rot ever.
