I figured i'd post what I have, and what i've done so far. Pretty much just a lot of buffing lol. I'm pretty stoked, it's my first SeaCraft, (220 original hours) and I think it came out awesome. Not to bad for my first time. I got the original SeaFoam to shine quite nicely!

Nice boat. How did you get so lucky as to find a 20 sf with only 220 original hours? :cool:

Looks like it sits perfectly balanced with that low rider truck of yours.

Looks very nice. I love that "Tower of Power" on the back.

Only thing is, nice as it is, Seafoam Green isn't the original color if it's really a '72 hull. From 1970 through '74 they offered dark blue, light blue (aqua), yellow, red, and white hulls only. The yellow was changed in '73 to a slightly lighter shade, as well. While I know it was available in '69 on the 19', Seafoam green wasn't listed as being offered as an original color between 1970 and '75. (Not sure about the year of re-introduction of the color) So whoever painted or re-gelcoated the hull did a very nice job.

Thanks for the comments. Idk if this was a one off deal or something, but there are is a chip in the gelcoat that makes the glass visible, and there isn't any signs of it being any other color. The guy I bought it from said it was the original color. Although per the literature, the color is not a factory color.

I am the 3rd owner of this boat, the 2nd was 23 when he bought it from an Estate Sale @ Johns Pass Marina, in Madeira Beach, FL. He is a little over 50, and I am 23 buying his old boat. I plan to have it around for a while.

At any rate, I am stoked to finally own a SeaCraft. I'll be posting more on it in the near future.

Great boat, congradulations!!!! That console looks like from a 70' or so, the 72' consoles are different, I think.

^^ Thank you, your "coral reefer" is quite the set up. When you put the 200 yami on there, how bad did it affect the rear through bottom scuppers? Do you always have to plug them?

As I mentioned before, I run the same motor.

If you get a chance I wonder if you could get some pictures of your trim pump setup (location and mounting) and one showing how your trim hoses run from motor through/across the splashwell. Thanks.

McGillicuddy- My trim pump is located in the storage/battery hatch to the left of the splash well. I am curious, might you know the year of this motor ?? I know that's a really crazy question lol. But my motor i.d plate is no longer legible. I'm thinking it's '82-'83, not sure though. Have you had any issues with your trim??

Four hoses from trim pump = pre-1984. 1984 saw the introduction of just two hoses with one trim cylinder in the center.
The cowl pinstriping changed from sparkled/metalflake blue/silver in '79, to 75/25 sixed wide blue/thin lt blue metalflake in '80-81, to 60/40 sized blue/lt blue stipes in '82-83, to brown/tan in '84, as well.

If you have ADI ignition (switch boxes with no distributor) with seeing the 60/40 sized blue/lt blue pinstripes in the picture, then I think you're in fact looking at '82-83.
