1969 Sea Craft 20 Superfish I/O version
I have a 1969 Sea Craft 20 Project boat sitting on a galvanized roller trailer for sale. I have the hull all intact with new flooring, casting platform, new fuel tank below deck, new transom, etc. The boat needs some cracks chased and to be faired and painted at this point. The work was all done under the guidance of Mike Borelli at Metan Marine. I have too many projects and can't find the time or money to finish this. That is the only reason I am selling. It will also come with a brand new 3.0 litre Mercruiser I/O engine and outdrive assembly minus the power trim pump. The boat is located in Central Maine. I would like $ 6000.00 for everything at this price you are getting a hull and trailer for free. If you don't like the I/O sell it and use the money toward a bracket and outboard. Ha I have the same trailer which I am about to put up on craigs list!
Great looking boat, good luck with sale. I think one issue is that you are up in maine where there might not be that much seacraft activity. Any chance you can drag it down to cape cod? Odds are, it would be gone in seconds if listed there... |
Re: 1969 Sea Craft 20 Superfish I/O version
The boat was in Massachusetts 10 minutes from the Cape Cod Canal  I moved here 3 years ago and the boat has been sitting in the garage and I haven't touched it. It's only a 3 hour ride :D I would like to see someone finish it as I would like nothing more than to see picture of someone using it. If it doesn't sell I may just cut into it and make it an outboard model with a bracket. How do you like the height of the trailer ?? I never launched the boat but seems as though it would take 4' of water to get it off

Make that 6 hours! It's not just one way... I hope.

I have no room nor time for this project. I am willing to let the hull and trailer along with $ 400.00 worth of supplies go for $ 2000.00 that is literally thousands below what I have invested to date. My loss is your gain It has been sitting in my garage out of the weather not outside under a canvas exposed to moisture, pests, etc
