US-1 heading south 6 miles to home http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y27.../Photo0082.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y27.../Photo0081.jpg Heading west to home 4 miles ahead... :( :o http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y27.../Photo0083.jpg See ya, Ken |

Re: Area 442
As someone who has run a class 3&5 Wildland Engines I always liked the fact that you a the pond and defensible space at area 442.
Remember if you think it's time to leave you should have been gone an hour ago. Good luck praying for everyone Jeff |

Re: Area 442
Thanks to all for the support!!!!
The worst is over for now. We did get a quick rain after I made the post this morning. :D Then the wind changed direction pushing the fire into the same way it had come.. It was only 5 miles south of the homestead. Had a sleepless night with this bad boy! See ya, Ken |
Re: Area 442

Re: Area 442
Sometimes cold fronts are your friends, and some of us to the south. Brought back bitsamonkey and the copter.
