1989 SEA CRAFT 23 SCEPTRE

Hey guys,Looking at a 1989 SEA CRAFT 23 SCEPTRE. The boat is in great shape. Just wandering about this year. The hull looks the same as the other ones. Just wandering about the quality of the year. Have a 225 Yam, MPI
Thank you. Still considering the 1970,but this just came up.

I have a 1989 SeaCraft 23WA, same hull, excellent quality as far as I am concerned. I bought it new and have had nothing go wrong but the fuel tank go bad and had to replace it. I am running a 225 Honda.

The 89 Tracker SC's are built quite well. The best part about a 1989 is that the decks, cap, and transom should have the best chance of the core being intact because they are the newest(21 yrs old). I had an 89 and just bought a 88 for the reason listed above.

If it was a car you could put collector plates on it. That's close enough to a classic for me.

Not in Florida. Takes a 30 yr. old vehicle to be tagged as an antique: Boat, car, truck, or motorcycle.
