I am thinking about posting the i/o stuff on fleabay, but I don't actually know what I have.

Can someone tell me what I have? (so I can list it?) THANKS.

And Yes, the engine hatch/cover is for sale too.

1-2 Transom bracket. Mercruiser?
3 ??? trim pump ???
4 Perko batery switch and ?water seperating filter? (Racor?) Pabst Blue Ribbon?
5-6 doghouse
7 binnacle mount??
8 Helm of some sort... Wierd shaft
9 switch panel
10 gauge cluster

I dont see much value in the hard parts. 1st is a old mercruiser 1 transom assy, value is round 100 bucks maybe, the trim pump is a old prestolite pump with the hydrolic reverse lockout used up to the mid 70's, 100 buck maybe if it works.the big problem I see is the corrosion on them, theres alot of those old merc parts out there that came from freshwater boats that are in good shape but there arnt that many boats from that era that are worth restoring so they are really hard to sell. the steering is a old rideguide from mercury, the cables arnt available anymore and it dosent have any value, the fuel filter and perko switch might bring 10 bucks each, the other boat parts have a limited market but they might sell to someone for a project.

When I did the same to my old I/O I had much better success on C/L. I just asked one price for the whole lot.

#1 is the gimbal housing (I believe) and trim cylinders.
#2 is the transom plate and the tube sticking up is part of the exhaust system.

I just sold a complete pair of these same MR1 outdrives (transom plates, gimbal housing, exhaust tube things, upper housings, lower housing, etc.) and a nearly new prop for $250 on CL. Took me almost 3 months to get that... Definitely not a high demand for this old stuff.

I was constantly telling myself to throw the stuff out, but kept holding out for a sale.

Yes, the plan is to try craigslist a few times first. Much prefer that route.
