Every aluminum or SST underfloor fuel tank i've every seen has a mfg label on it. check yours out carefully, i'll bet there is one on it somewhere. It will have the date of mfg.

Would look something like this:

The transom wood is 1 1/2". Probably used 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood glassed together. I replaced mine with 1 1/2" Coosa board. Worked great.

If you dont see a tag on the tank, pull it.
If you dont see any corosion, pull it.
If you have the boat half torn up, pull it.

Its better knowing now, than the first time your 2+ miles off shore after just filling up and your bilge pump starts pumping fuel out of the bilge.
