it's good. You'll like it. It's "old school".

Re: 1968 bahama 500 video
I posted this back in 2009 . . . Just love all those old school mercs. Pretty impressive what they did with just a compass and chart. Apparently the 1967 Bahama500 (year before this) was a sh!tshow with the weather.

1968 Bahama 500 Video
At 11:57 in the film(http://vimeo.com/5671455) my father is in it, leaning over wearing his Brown & Hauptner Marine shirt. I really miss him...

Those guys and gals were tough. Great film there. |
Thanks for posting that Mr. B. Miss my Dad, too. He never kept me from heading toward the water whether a creek, pond, river or the big pool...
Was your Dad running with Moesley in this race or with Sirois? It looked like Sirois' triple Merc o/b rig "29," was a SeaCraft. Is that right? At any rate, it looked like the name was "Sea Saw." Until I saw this, I was thinking of naming my 21 SeaSaw. Now I'm not sure it's appropriate running a singe 150 MerCruiser and all:o. Odell Lewis seems like such a genuine gentleman. |
