1966 SeaCraft ???

The Potter years started in 69. What is the story on 66 SeaCrafts?

Thank you that is way to cool. I am hopefully going to buy a 1966 19 foot bow rider that I plan to turn into a CC with a bracket . After reading the info you sent. I am even more excited that I was!

Be prepared for some backlash. The bowriders are rare and cc's are rather plentiful. Just sayin'. ;)

Yeah, well one '68 SeaCraft bowrider got taken to the dump last year in Alabama that had the original OMC V8 sterndrive (motor in running condition) because nobody could come up with the $500 to save it from the landfill. And that price was for boat, motor, and trailer. See here: '68 Bowrider thread

Rare? yes. Desired? evidently not so much.

Wish I could find one for $500 that wasn't so far away!

Rare means nothing in the boating world unless it has some type of history behind it.

If that is what you want to do knock yourself out.

Here is a picture of one that some one did awhile back.

No arguments on the bracket, but the Bowrider is a pretty decent fishing boat with good bow access as-is, and you'd have a nice big cockpit without a cc taking up all the room. Something to think about before diving into all that work! I think you'll see what I mean once you look at one up close.
