Out with the old & in with the new!

I've been on a hunt for a new leaning post but just couldn't seem to find exactly what I wanted nor could I find someone that I was comformable dealing with. I wanted 4 rod holders, folding footrest, storage under the seat, removeable backrest & a low profile seat that when the backrest was out I could yellowtail fish from. On top of all that I didn't want a bulky oversized post. Dave came recommended by a guy I work with. I first went to his shop to see some of his work. He does mostly T-Top, towers & large shade structures for bigger boats. His welds were all very clean & he worked with me to the T. Sure is nice when you get what you want!

The old & original 1969 seats.

Now the wife is going to have to stand when fighting a fish!
Here's Dave's website if interested!

The only thing I will say about him is if he says one week it'll take two!

Looks exactly what I want when get ready to get a seat.
Looks like there is room for a cooler under also.
Is he local and how was the pricing?

Yes, local & very competitive considering it's custom.
