Well after about three years of hanging around here I finally have a SeaCraft of my own. 1972 blue MA 20' with a two stroke Suzuki 115. The interior was redone at some point so it has a large raised deck up front. Cushions and a dodger give my boys a place out of the sun while dad gets a super sharp, seaworthy fly fishing platform for use around Boston's north shore!
Should pick it up on Friday, my birthday, and have it in action for the long weekend. Pictures to follow. Also, probably, several long series of questions and posts about mods, customizations, rehabing and redoing to follow, too! |

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the new purchase and your birthday!

Welcome aboard, Capt'n! Always room for one more nut in this barrel!
I realize you have been "lurking" around these waters, but don't forget the rules of survival here. Keep a thick skin and a healthly sense of humor. It is all in fun and comrodery. Where on the north shore are you. I'm in Newburyport. |

I'm in Marblehead. The boat is going to be on a mooring on the Marblehead side of Salem harbor.

Re: FInally full fledged member
Doh! It appears I might have spoken a bit too soon. The deal has run into some complications as boat purchases often seem to do.
I think it is going to be back to craigslist and 'for sale' forum here for me! |
