launch
This day has been a long time coming. Four years to be exact. I'm very happy. Thanks to all that helped, actively and passively. Don [image]http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/a...cheney/019.jpg[/image]

Re: launch
Cheg,
Have you been ducking through doorways? You should. That boat is as sweet as they come. Great job!!!!!!!!! Where in central MA did you launch it. Looks to be a real nice lake. |
Re: launch
Looks Beautiful,I'm sure it rides as good as it looks.Congratulations on a job well done.
What lake? Webster? Quinsigamond? |
Re: launch
Quaboag in Brookfield. It's a small shallow lake with a very nice ramp made usable by Irene. Thanks for the kind words. Here's a few more pics.
Started with this: [image]http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/a...cheney/033.jpg[/image] [image]http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/a...cheney/038.jpg[/image] [image]http://[/image] [image]http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/a...cheney/113.jpg[/image] To where I'm at now. Have to finish the wiring, install windshield and hatches, install some old electronics, and a little more paint on the interior; [image]http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/a...cheney/009.jpg[/image] [image]http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/a...cheney/010.jpg[/image] [image]http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/a...cheney/013.jpg[/image] I'm also going to raise the motor a notch. Re: launch
Wildman, I've been watching your rebuild with great interest. I'm in awe of the speed and quality of your progress. Pipedream was in my yard for about 1 1/2 months. The only reason I bought it was because it had everything I needed and all the right size including Seastar steering and some beat up Bennets. Sold it to the guy you bought it from. Looks like you replaced everything I pulled off with something better so I don't feel too guilty. Whatever happened to the big hunk of teak that my t-top was attached to?

Re: launch
This monster?
http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/t...b/P8241435.jpg I sold it to Loon on here and hes going to modify it and put it on a 20ft Seacraft. The white parts were all rotten behind the plastic exterior, and I didn't need 300LB of teak on my console! |
