What Product to Use

I am preparing to restore the exterior of my boat this winter. I understand several users have used "PoliGlo" as a finish restorer. Is this a good product and do you recommend it?

It's good as long as the gelcoat is in good enough condition. You need to get through the oxidation before you apply the Poly Glow. I suggest wet sanding with 800-1200 grit to remove oxidation.

Polyglo has some guys that don't like it especially if you have to try and get it off - another option is Rejex, I think similar product that seems to raves by all - it was an aircraft product

Main issue is the prep on both
