Looking for anodized aluminum 'flat bar' ?

Maybe someone can direct me.

Not even sure what the stuff is actually called - but here's a description:

- many boat bench or helm seats use (2) pcs of flat anodized aluminum bar bent to a 'soft' 90 degree or so to allow for the bottom of the seat and the backrest to be attached - these aluminum pcs if leaned back hard would have a spring to them. They're usually about 4" or so wide, by approx 1/4"-1/2" thick by varoius legnths...

What's it called ?
Where can I buy this stuff ?

I want to build my own custom bench seat and need these supports.

Thx

Being a marine upholsterer in all my suply catalouges I have not seen theese and it must be a cutom piece for the seat makers.
I'd look to a welding shop t tops for them

I think they have it - its called flat bar... Thx.

It would have to be bent to shape - how would you attempt that ?
