Wow- still love the old woodgrain dash with "SeaCraft" on it

My buddy bought it of this couple he knows down in Long Beach ,CA they were not using it . so my buddy took it from them,my buddy did nothing with the boat for about 2 years till he gave me the call he wanted to sell it. He told me I was first to have the boat offered to and would rather have me get the boat than somebody else. I got it and put about $3000 into the boat and trailer, boat cost me 3000 so I'm 6000 into it. Runs great, but Mean Gas Sucking Engines kill me.
Wide open throttle or close to wide open flat glassy water 6 adults and gear 50-55 mph.
I love the stability and the performance of the hull in rough water , I have not seen a Sea Craft around like it a all and I get plenty of good compliments at the ramp....

"Runs great, but Mean Gas Sucking Engines kill me"

Yes Sir!! six big ass two barrel carbs will do it for sure!! I've had many of those OMC engines and it didn't seem to hurt so bad when gas was around a dollar a gallon, now it's not as much fun at almost four bucks a gallon!! Take care!

that is a great looking and timeless hull. how are the floors? Are the motors 150s or 200s, very nice looking rig!

Sea Addict 10-16-2011 05:29 PM

The floor has a few blisters but not bad at all for what its been sitting for, and the weather where my buddy was storing it. The engines are 1991 Evinrude V6 150s XP's. Runs great, but need to get my Fishing buddys To pitch in for gas... Another thing I like is the Teak Wood On top of the transom with the rod holders ... I get a lot of compliments on that... The disadvantage is that its in the way when reach over to get a live bait... other than that love the boat...... you take care also DonV .... thanks viking fish....

Sweet Ride. I'm jealous. I was born in '76. I have a '76 John Deere 300 riding mower. Would love to find a '76 SC 23 Center Console too!

Keep enjoying your ride!

I think it looks nice that the old OMC's are low enough to be hidden in profile view
