Never seen one like this before
Posted on another site. Guy claims it's a 27 seavette.
The windshield is interesting! http://www.stripersonline.com/t/8046...boat-owners/15 strick |
Doubt very much if it's a seavette. We could tell by HIN though being a '72 it may not have one. I have a 27 catalog at home, if I remember I'll look it up when I get back.

It looks like the same model as the one Carla is selling but instead of a fly bridge they put on a windshield? Which makes me think it's a late 1960's. Never seen a 27 seavette so I don't really know what one is supposed to look like.

False alarm....I guess we have been there and done this before:

Looks like a 27' SeaMaster with a 20' SeaFari windshield up top.

I remember that one now....
It was the SeaMaster take-off for Potter... |

If it is a seavette it will have a V in the HIN. At least mine did.

I think you will find it to be a "seavilla", a very rare Seacraft.

The Seavettes are go-fast boats. I don't think anyone here has posted a pic of the elusive 27 Seavette. If you want to see what a 23 Seavette looks like, go here: http://www.classicseacraft.com/23Footers.htm Dave |
