Some Boat Porn

Been meaning to stop by and take some pics of my dads boat he's been building. This one is going to be a 26' Express and then built a 23' CC two years ago. I guess he has been working on this for about 2 months and hopes to get some primer on it this weekend.
No not a Seacraft but just as purty!

Probably is, along with a single screw diesel straight inboard....would be a good combo for a 26' Express. Look at the bow flare on that baby! I'll bet it will be a dry ride.

Pretty sexy for sure, nice Carolina bottom, nice forefoot, flying saucer flair, gobs of tumblehome. Gotta love a boat that's built on a jig and seeing it in every stage. What's it getting for power?

Its going to have a bracket and maybe a single yamaha 300. Hes not real sure about motor right now. The bow thruster is mainly for around his dock. The boat is about the max he could get in the slip by the time you add the bracket and the motor, so the thruster will help abunch. The 23' has a 175 and its plenty of motor.

Very nice!! "Tarbaby" had a thread on THT as he built a similar boat.

Yeah Tarbaby is building a nice rig also.
Dad documented he's first one on there. Username "Parrott"

Dad flipped the boat a couple weeks ago. Has has started putting bulkheads in now.

The last few are from Saturadays trip to Hatteras to king fish. Left out of Morehead. The wreck is about 65 miles from the shoals.
We rode the beach up and then cut offshore. Burned about 50-55gals and rode about 190-200 miles plus trolling.
