Update on the Race boat

Exchanged PM's with Steve Sirois this week after a thread about the Gold Coast Marathon started up. I asked about the boat for sale here and he updated me on some details of them. He thought Carl was in #31 and he and Jim Tebo ran a 28 in the Bahamas 500, he said it was cut down a bit and they took the top off a couple and got pretty wet LOL

This possably could be the other hull

That was the yellow #202 and he posted a pic here on page 5 -

Dixon, did I see that correctly???? An avatar with a "high performance" Chrysler??? That's funny.

I think I saw that one also, did a double take also - wonder if the 28 hull in Stuart is the one Steve was driving looks like it might have been cut down some, not much freeboard

DonV and Eggs - They are pretty rare but Chrysler "Stackers" were bad to the bone in their day (before I was born) :)

No, not the one in Stuart... Mine has more freeboard than #202.

apparently that is the guys avatar and look at his sig he's running it

More to the point - I think that this boat is in fact race boat #202 driven by Steve Sirois in the Bahama 500 - I have requested him to look at it but the lower freeboard than 31 - 404 or the 28 in Stuart we may have a winner.

post #65 has a great picture of 202 - I believe the link will go straight to page 5 if not its on page 5

maybe Carl can help out here, as all the others seem to have more freeboard much to Mr Sirois displeasure at getting very wet LOL
