mercruiser inline 6cyl

Can a mercruiser inline 6 cyl be converted from an I/0 configuration to a inboard v drive application?

This guy has one. Looks like the inline version bolts right up to the flywheel housing. Maybe he can offer some insight.

I'd give Borg Warner a call. I think they are in New Bedford MA or there abouts.
