Some before and after pics of my 23' potter sceptre
8 Attachment(s)
After inquiring and picking the brains of some of the best "body" guys in my area, I decided that I was going to take on the task of repainting my hull. There are a few before and after pics...sorry about size and quality as they were all taken with my cell phone.
I used Sterling "Seafoam Green" for a finish. I installed a custom top from Atlantic Tower in Jersey. The top arrived as specified and I couldn't wait to throw it on. When my friend and I got it to the boat, we saw that the spread of the top's legs were about 2" too wide. I called Atlatic Tower and spoke with one of their techs/engineers. He informed me that this one done intentionally so as to provide a very tight and "rattle free" installation. So, I broke out the ratchet straps and sure enough we brought the legs in to where they needed to be. Some may say that the top is set a little bit off to the stern but I am very tall and need the clearance. I just did all of the canvas, glass, and bolsters. I will post a bunch of pics of the finished product next week. Last few pics are my son on the boat and the sunset over Jamaica Bay NY. Thanks. |
Great paint job, I like the color. Now you just need a new rub rail to really set it off.
Good job |
