seavette -repower?

Hey Guys. What would be the minimum horsepower single engine outboard for a seavette? The transom needs to be rebuilt, should it be built for 25 or 30 inch? leave as notch or go with flotation bracket? Do these boats have the same scupper problems as all 23s do?

Minimum??? Seavette? I`m lost.

Cheers,
GFS

Sandy makes a good point. 300 HP minimum unless you want a boat that looks fast, but isn't.
