Seacraft 23
 

To whom it may concern. I have a question about the 23's ..It seams that to me that Some 23 boats have different tomoholme {SP.} Most in boards have it but there is one seacraft in town that looks like it does not have any at all. Can you please explain .. Maybe it is the year or the model. Thanks for your input.. Martin

Do you mean "tumblehome", as in curvature of the hull sides near the transom? All 23's regardless of engine setup have the same basic hull design and none had that feature.

Tumblehome or crown in the transom? Seacrafts do not have tumblehome but they do have a crown in the transom. The crown is the upward curvature from side to side.

"Tumblehome"???? I've done that a few late nights with my favorite Bud myself. :)

"Tumblehome" is the degree to which the beam of a vessel narrows from the bilge to the gunwale, generally measured at the transom. The only modern vessels I can think of which have discernible tumblehome are Riva, a couple of Chris Crafts, Alsberg, etc.
