Another restoration complete!

Well almost complete. I still need to get a windshield, plumb the live well, order a new steering wheel and a couple of other minor odds and ends. Here's the final product and a couple in between. Its has an old school 1993 yamaha 200. Right now Im running a 19p mercury mirage plus prop (I suspect that it has been repitched to 21). I get 49.5 mph at 5100 rpm (WOT). My best cruise is right at 3000 rpm. This is maybe 28 mph and about 3.9 miles per gallon according to the fuel management. This is lightly loaded. Not too bad for an old carbed 200 yamaha.

Wow ! She looks nice! Everything has it's place.

I especially like your backer plate in the engine well with SeaCraft on it.
Did you have it made? That's pretty cool.

Thanks for the complements! Yes, I had the stainless plate on the transom made. I have a friend with a CNC water jet. He did a great job on it. Even polished it up nice and shiny for me. Its definately one of my favorite little add ons.

How do you open the glove box with the steering wheel repositioned? Boat looks sweet!

Blue197320 03-10-2012 09:28 PM

that transom bolt bracket is different from the bps one. the bps ones said seacraft on one side and mako on the other. i asked about a year ago and they didnt have any to sell. this one is nicer i think. nice job on the resto. very clean.
