Will a spray dodger from 1986 hull fit a 1972 hull?

I'm planning to buy a used spray dodger for the bow of my 23' center console. The spray dodger was formerly installed on a 1986 hull. Does anyone know if the layout of my 1972 hull is the same? In other words, will the dodger fit without too much trouble? (It includes the original hardware) Thanks.

NO you should send it to me so i can put it on my 86

honestly it should fit you will just have to adjust the mounting locations to get the best fit
