NOAA to pay anglers not to fish.
 

This has been circulating around the net for a while,and from what I can see is actually true.I also read that by the year 2020 Noaa and the feds want recreational fishing to become catch and release.This is a dangerous slope we're on.
Personally I think the leash on NOAA should be more like a choke chain.They need to be reigned in on a lot of things.I'd also like them to actually produce a marine forecast that is somewhat accurate.
Not trying to start a poltical rant session,just wondering if anyone has any info on thoughts on the issue.Here's a link to one story about it.
