23' pics
A Spring day in Charleston. Finally got to run the boat for a while. I also saw a really nice 20' today recently repowered w/Yam 225 4S but couldn't get a pic. I've been asked to help pilot this one for a buddy this Summer and stopped to check on it. SWEEET!

ox66 #'s
How do ya like that ox66 ? And what kind of fuel econ do ya get with it?
I'm working on a 23 and will need some power in the future. Looking at all the options. Thanks |
Speaking of "SWEEET", your 23 looks great also!! To me that's the perfect HP for these boats....unless I get a great deal on a 300hp. You never outgrow the desire for more HP. :) :)

Nice renovation, great pics!

Thanks! The OX66 likes fuel and oil but runs strong. This is my 4th. Foot oil every year.Replace lp fuel pumps,hp pump screen, water pump every 2 yrs, keep the fuel clean, thermostats/poppit valves every 3 and they keep on running. (Knocking on wood) It gets ~ 2 mpg avg. With the 4 blade 17p Solas, tops low 40's and cruise mid-high 20's. Considering the additional weight of 4S I would probably go 300 Suzi or Yam at repower. I would prefer a single with this combo.
