Master Angler Transom

any of you famililar with the rear configuration on a Master Angler - would it be possable to do the epoxy stuff Skip used or does the transom config prevent you from getting to the corners??

Hey Dog! I'm assuming you are thinking of the ol chainsaw clean out of the wet/rotten wood. A 25" transom makes it tough to get into the corners and to the very bottom and....this is important....you can't poke any holes in the interior transom skin. The stuff will leak through....I know. IF all the wood in the transom is rotten it makes it much easier to dig out, mine was half goo and half like new. So to get it all out I cut off the outer skin. Was not that hard to re-attach, just some fairing and sanding, repeat often.

Yes, I was like Skip with his rebar thingy, with the configuration though it seems it would be very difficult to get to the outside on this boat. I doubt its goo but I doubt like new anywhere either, skin is probably the easiest on this model.
