1977 23' CC hawse pipes

Do any of you guys know the manufacture who did the original Hawse pipes for the 23' 1977 CC. RGH opening is 4.5" x 1 7/8" with 4 screws that are 4.75 apart on length.

Thanks
Damian

Marinium is actually the material they were made from, a special aluminum alloy that had something like titanium in it to improve corrosion resistance. Most of these types of parts, like cleats and bow lights, have a WC on the backside of them, for Wilcox-Crittenden, who I believe is the original manufacturer. Marinium will polish up very nicely on a buffing wheel, although you need to put some clear coat on it to prevent the formation of a light oxide.

Ditto on what BW said. I bought a couple of cleats from caymanboy and they cleaned up nicely. I used 000 steel wool then some NeverDull from Advance.

The Whitecaps 6127C is a close replacement in SS should you choose to go that route.

Good call Denny! I learned something today. I pulled out my extra cleats & hawse pipes to check, see below "red" circles.
