trailer bunks

I need to replace the carpet on my bunks. Anyone ever think of using Line-x or an equivlent truck bed liner. seems like it would work nicely on driving up on the bunks. Any thoughts?

Go with something like this....in white. There are many options that are much better than carpet.

I like these. do you have them on your trailer?

Not the exact same brand on the SeaCraft trailer, however something very similar. White plastic bunk slides. Also, for what it's worth, your wood bunks dry out faster without being wrappped in carpet. I have some black plastic covers over the 2x6 bunks that came on my new flats boat trailer, I'm going to replace with the white ones on the web site mentioned. The ones I really care about replacing are the two at the front of the trailer, the ones that the front "V" of the boat hits first when loading, the two bunks in the back never get the hull sliding on them. I'll get some pics.

I wouldn't use any type of bed liner I have it in my truck and it would sand down the hull fast it's designed so stuff doesn't slide as much in the bed and it works
