ArrrrrGHH !!

Anybody have a ball park of having a hardtop made without the isinglass ( for now ) for a 23' Tsunami ? Eventually I will put on the glass, just not yet $$$. I have a few favorite hardtop designs on the site...

Every time I say, " its too expensive " and am ready to go the soft top option, I look at boat porn and see the hardtop pix and ... well, I then re-focus on a hardtop.

And even if this is in my price range, who makes 'em really well locally to Long Island ( or, I guess CT, NJ, NY )

Anyone want to attach a picture of your hardtop - it would be greatly appreciated !

Here's a picture of the one on my 1979 Sceptre. I might also consider selling it as I keep going back and forth between keeping it an express and making it a Savage type layout.

I want a hardtop and,

... eventually want isinglass. Just won't be able to afford the glass till later.

Talk to Bob over at Raybo in Lindenhurst. He will give you an idea of the high-end cost. Then see if you can price it down from there.

What about fabricating a hardtop on to the aluminum piping using a fiberglass skin or starboard type material? If I keep the frame that's what I'm contemplating.

The biggest shortage I'm finding lately is time...

I think building the actual top wouldn't be that hard - after a design is figured out. It's the aluminum tube that a pro is needed.

Is the sequence - hardtop first then the aluminum ?

Anyone have a hardtop built recently that has experience with the cost of it ?
