1985 sea craft 23' scupper drain questions
 

I am looking at a 1985 sea craft that is for sale. The transom has been redone and now it has a 300 HPDI mounted on a bracket. But the scuppers drain into the bilge area. Is this normal for these boats and how could it be changed to drain out the transom as most boats do.
