Several years ago we made a number of week long trips to Mullet Bay on St.Martins Dutch side.I should have bought a piece of property then as land was a bargain.
I remember taking a ride into Phillipsburgh and Marigot with a cabbie who drove what seemed like 100mph on all the curvey roads.
Along the way,I'd see these goats and asked the cabbie who owned them to which he replied "nobody owns them until one gets run over,then everyone says it's theirs"

What a beautiful island,your buddy picked a nice place.A 23 SeaCraft would fit in nicely there.
