Bimini or T-Top

What do you guys prefer, Bimini or T-Top?

Depends on what you need to accomplish. For fishing, a T-top is a lot easier to deal with, no straps to pass rods around. For sun protection, a properly designed Bimini is far superior to a T-Top.

X2 on the T Top and you can put antennas, out riggers, a t bag and electrons box with it and have something for everyone to hold on to

Shoot....I thought this was a trick question. :) T-top hands down!!

I want a T top just so I can get a t bag.

Down here, a T Top only works from 12:02 - 12:37.

I have always been a t-top lover for the look and asthetics on a CC vs. a bimini. To me,a 20 SF wearing a bimini was like a pit bull wearing a christmas sweater, but mine came with one and since I have been using it so far this year, the shade provided is far better than t-top. As stated previously,it depends on your needs and usage of your rig to choose which top suits your needs, but the bimini has strengths I didn't respect until I used one for a while.

Why choose... http://www.bimiteetop.com/

Actually, I have had both Bimini tops and T tops I had one of the Bimini T tops on my 19CC several years ago. I am a T-top guy, but that is because I fish and do not do much else in my boat. I dont like having anything on my gunnels. I like the rod storage I get up on the top. The trade off is you have to move around sometimes to find the shade.

On the Bimini T top, that was a pretty cool set up on a small boat. It let the top be removable but offered some shade. It held up very nicely for the 4 years I had it. It was more stable than I would have thought, when running the air seems to strengthen the top. The only draw back was that you had to roll up the sunbrella before you trailered the boat.

Bimini Tops are lot stronguer than what they look like and indeed offers much more shade. I mainly do a lot of diving and very little rod and reel so for the family and i the Bimini will be best.

Bimini vs T-top

The T-top looks better but with the bimini you can fold it down and it's out of the way in seconds.
